We are Adam & Lauren—partners in life and in travel, and the duo behind A & L Travel Media. As storyteller and photographer, we uncover the essence of each destination, one snapshot at a time. Adam’s editorial precision and Lauren’s visual artistry come together to create travel media that is both informative and captivating. Through words and images, our work celebrates the beauty of discovery and the stories that make travel unforgettable. Recently married, we left our federal careers behind to return to our Florida roots, where we were both born and raised. Beginning this new chapter, our goal is to pursue our love of travel and storytelling while capturing meaningful moments together. We’ve made our home in Jacksonville’s charming San Marco neighborhood—a place of tree-lined streets, historic architecture, and riverside views that inspire us daily. Its quaint cafés, timeless theaters, and welcoming community provide the perfect backdrop for creativity, fueling our passion to share unforgettable memories. At A & L Travel Media, we believe travel is more than movement—it is discovery and connection.
Adam is the researcher, writer, and planner behind our journeys. With over 30 years of service as an FBI Agent, Navy Intelligence Officer, and senior advisor within the Department of Defense, he brings unmatched rigor and curiosity to every project. His career in national security and congressional affairs honed his ability to uncover hidden stories and translate them into compelling narratives. Today, Adam channels that expertise into travel writing—blending history, culture, and authenticity to craft experiences that resonate. Adam is currently writing his first of many travel books and also volunteers at Theatre Jacksonville in San Marco to further support his passion for the arts.
Lauren is the visual storyteller of A & L Travel Media. With more than 15 years of experience in travel, event, and portrait photography, she brings destinations to life through her camera lens. As the official photographer for the Director of the FBI, she captured defining moments on Capitol Hill and across Washington, D.C., preserving the pulse of democracy in every frame. Lauren’s professional expertise lies in portrait, event and travel photography, where every shot resonates with meaning and story. Lauren believes every photograph tells a story and her passion lies in revealing the soul of a location or moment, with artistry and precision.
